What does it mean to spay or neuter your pet? Both procedures consist of sterilizing the pet to prevent unwanted pregnancies, diseases and health conditions. The difference between the two terms comes down to the gender of the animal.
Pets should see a veterinarian regularly for preventive care, routine check-ups, and medical treatment when needed. The frequency of vet visits depends on various factors, including the pet's age, breed, health status, and lifestyle.
We are a community health program of the nonprofit Lānaʻi Cat Sanctuary. We specialize in animal services for all species including dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds.
