  • Xylitol – an artificial sweetener found in gum, candy, and some baked goods, which can cause insulin release and hypoglycemia in dogs, leading to seizures and liver failure.

  • Bones – cooked bones can splinter and cause blockages or punctures in the digestive system, while raw bones can harbor bacteria and cause infections.
